International Alliances to promote cooperation

Desjardins is a member of the following organizations:

International Co-operative Banking Association (ICBA)

The International Co-operative Banking Association is an ICA organization devoted to banking. The ICBA represents about 50 cooperative organizations and institutions in 50 countries on four continents. Its goals are essentially the same as those of the ICA but it operates exclusively in the cooperative banking industry.

International Co-operative and Mutual Insurance Federation (ICMIF)

ICMIF is the branch of ICA that specializes in the insurance industry. Desjardins Financial Security Life Assurance Company and Desjardins Group, General Insurance are ICMIF members.

The International Confederation of Popular Banks (CIBP)

The CIBP associates banking and financial institutions and organizations, the aim of which is to encourage the development of small and medium-sized companies and the middle classes.
