Mandatory banking information

The 12-digit C-N-A-P-S (China National Advanced Payments System) code is required for transfers in yuan (CNY).

This code identifies the recipient's bank branch.

In order to avoid transfer returns or delays, don't shorten the recipient's first or last name.

If you don't have enough space in the Recipient name field, continue on the first line of the Beneficiary address field by moving the address down. Continue in the Purpose of payment field if necessary.

According to Chinese regulations, individuals can only receive funds transfers related to business transactions if authorized by their financial institution. It is your responsibility to verify this with the recipient.

The bank identifier code, also called the SWIFT code, comprises 8 or 11 characters. The first 8 characters identify the financial institution and the last 3 refer to the branch.

I-B-A-N

I-B-A-N (International Bank Account Number) is a bank account identifier mainly used in Europe. It varies from country to country and consists of up to 34 characters.

It often appears on bank statements and invoices of companies and individuals residing in participating countries.

Even though it's not required locally, some countries might use the I-B-A-N. When the I-B-A-N is indicated on the AccèsD form, we suggest you use it instead of the account number.
