Philippe Hébert: It's like the Islands themselves and everyone here is supporting us. It allowed me to become a boat mechanic. Without boats, without ferries, the Islands couldn't exist.

Laura Proulx: My bursary gave me the opportunity to study in California, which was an amazing experience.

Émilie Couturier: Books, tuition . . . it just lifts a little weight off our shoulders.
