Eligibility criteria

  • You must meet 1 of the following 3 criteria:
    • You’re between 14 and 21
    • You’re between 22 and 25 enrolled in a full-time college or vocational program at a recognized educational institution in Canada
    • You’re a full-time university student of any age enrolled in a Canadian university 
  • You're a resident of Quebec or Ontario
  • You can open the account for yourself

To open an account for your 12- or 13-year-old, make an appointment at a caisse or branch of your choice. Kids must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian.
